Gore-Tex Respirator+ optimizes weather protection while creating a vapor-permeable layer that won't collect condensation like other weather-resistant bivy systems. If you need more ventilation, the no-see-um netting on the Outdoor Research Advanced Bivy Bag allows better airflow without letting the bugs in. The Alpine Bivy Bag comes with five stake loops, a single hoop poles and a guy line loop for adding space in an incredibly lightweight, two-pound package. Inside you'll find a small internal mesh pocket for your watch, flashlight, paperback book, PSP or Game Boy DS game system (really…) and other evening essentials. The high-volume foot area gives you plenty of legroom, although some find there's also space to keep a few Nalgene water bottles from freezing overnight.
